Word Template For Your Thesis Or Paper

I created a simple Word template that you can use in order to format your thesis or paper. You can download it below.

Why use a template?

One of the key things to get right from the start is automatic numbering of sections and subsections, as well as Figures and Tables. This allows you to insert automatic tables of contents. It also allows you to crossreference the sections or tables in the text.

The great thing is that if you move the figures or sections around, you don’t need to change the numbering manually. Word will do that for you automatically.

This will save you hours of time. Believe me. I learned it the hard way.

You will of course have to modify the style of the headings and figure captions, depending on the style requested by your university or the journal. You can do that very easily, though, just on one heading, and Word will update all automatically.
